Setting Your Sanctuary — How to Use

The First Burn — The Most Important

Allow your candle to burn until the entire surface has melted to the edges — this is called a full melt pool. This prevents tunnelling and ensures every pour of fragrance is released throughout the candle’s life. This may take 2–3 hours. Never extinguish early on the first burn.

Every Burn After

• Trim your wick to 5mm before every burn
• Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time
• Allow the candle to cool and solidify fully before relighting
• Keep away from draughts — they cause uneven burning and excess soot

Maximising Your 60–80 Hours

• Always burn on a heat-resistant surface
• Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials
• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Stop burning when 10mm of wax remains
